The specifications may look nice, but the pricing is high considering that the hardware specs are quite outdated and their are phones with better specs in this price range from comepeting brands like the XOLO Q1000, Lenovo A706 and Micromax Canvas A116. Its benchmark results are yet to arrive. Lets see whether it can really give a power-packed performance as stated in the official site.

The specs are very good for the price considering it comes from a branded company. But it has battle tough competition from other budget manufacturers in the extremely crowded marker in India. Lenovo launched a new entry-level Android - A390 at Rs.8689.

Lenovo expands its portfolio of smartphones in India by launching 6 new models aiming at all types of budgets. The Lenovo A390 is an entry level Android ICS phone and the lowest model at Rs. 8,689. The phone seems to target new buyers in lower budget bracket.

HTC launched the Desire XDS Android Smartphone in India for Rs. 16089

The Desire XDS was announced last year in China as T329W. Apart from being Dual-SIM with Dual Standby, its other features are similar to the Desire X which was launched in India in October 2012. Like other phones in the Desire series, the Desire XDS also has Beats Audio support.

We expected it to provide atleast Jelllybean out-of-the-box along with a bigger battery. HTC yesterday launched Desire U which appears to be a smaller sibling for Desire XDS.

HTC launched a new Dual-SIM android 'Desire U' in India for Rs.13500.

HTC Desire U that was announced earlier this year is now available in India from online retailers. It also has Beats audio support like other phones in the Desire series. The phone looks very cool, but at this price point they should have at least provided a Dual-core processor and Android 4.1 JellyBean out-of-the-box. Its surprising that HTC hasn't yet displayed any information about this model on its India website.
